Tweeze any stray hairs from under the arch of your brow, as well as from the space above your nose. When your eye makeup is dramatic, every unplucked hair will become the center of unwanted attention! If your brows have been long neglected, do consider having a professional make up artist or esthetician arch your eyebrows. Condition your brows and lashes to maximize shine and health.

Most dramatic eye makeup is finished by applying eye liner and mascara. If you apply a fine line of eye liner in black you will be able to sweep it up and out from the corner of your eye from the top lashes and by adding eye liner to the bottom lid and sweeping this up and outwards the look can be as dramatic as you wish; two coats of black mascara which has been applied right down by the roots before sweeping upwards to get the most volume or the use false eye lashes will complete the look.

Dramatic designs can be far trickier to apply than natural designs because they tend to involve more color and more skill in application. The smoky look involves dark browns or blacks and the ability to apply makeup very close to the lash line. Also, it is important to have good blending skills in order to make the smoky look work. To start, line both the top and bottom lash lines with a soft eye liner in a dark brown or black.

Dramatic eye makeup tips application can take some practice, but the best thing about this is that you can experiment at the same time. In order to create a dramatic look for your eye makeup:

You should use an eye pencil to color your eyebrows a shade darker than their natural color.
You should try to keep your eyebrows symmetrical and follow the shape whilst creating a natural arch in the process.

Prime the eye with a little concealer to give a great base and then take your Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow Quad in Sultry Smoke and apply the light purple toned neutral eye shadow (1) over the entire lid. Apply your second darkest colour (2) which is a navy toned blue to the lower part of the lid blending from the inside to the outside. Apply your third darkest colour (3), an ashy grey to the crease of the eye, working with your brow bone as a guide.

Prominent Eyes: Use dark shades on prominent eyes, as it will make their eyes look small and attractive. No need to apply shade on the brow but a defined socket line is must. Always put eyeliner, around 1/8 inches thick, a little extended at the corners.

Almond shape: Apply pastel shades over the lid with a hue of light brown at the socket area. Don’t forget to put a defined line of eyeliner from one end to the other.

The Lashes. You should not forget your eye lashes either. You can use false eyelashes, if you would like, or simply use mascara. A new trend is in extensions for your eye lashes. This allows you to get those gorgeous big lashes that you should curl up.
